Youth training / Jeugdtraining

Recreational training focuses on fun, badminton fundamentals, movement, discipline and social skills. Players build confidence through enjoyable training, internal tournaments and suitable lower-level competitions.

TopSport training is for ambitious competition players preparing for youth competition, Junior Master tournaments and the Dutch Youth Championships (NJK).

Expectations for parents / Verwachtingen voor ouders

Please ensure children arrive on time in sports clothing with clean, non-marking indoor shoes and a water bottle. Encourage positively, respect trainers and group placement, inform VBSC about absence, and allow trainers to coach without instructions from the sideline. Treat all players, volunteers and opponents respectfully.

Membership options

Executive Membership – Three Days: play three fixed days per week for the full season, with core club membership, competition eligibility and guest passes.

Full Membership – Two Days: play two selected days per week, with competition eligibility and guest passes.

Yearly Membership – One Day: play one fixed day per week, with basic beginner training and guest passes.

Student Membership: eligible students may receive the rate approved for that season. Proof of student status may be required.

Membership fees, contributions, discounts and included benefits are determined by VBSC each season and communicated before registration.

Membership conditions

Selected days are fixed and cannot normally be changed or swapped. Additional play requires registration, availability, prior approval and any applicable contribution. Missed sessions and cancellations by members are non-refundable and cannot be transferred. If VBSC cancels a session, the club will try to offer an alternative or suitable compensation. Locations, schedules and court availability may occasionally change.

Competition contribution

Competition registration fees, shuttle costs and other player contributions are set separately each season and communicated before teams are confirmed. Participation is confirmed after payment. Players should use their own feather shuttles during regular team training unless agreed otherwise.

Registration & payment

The amount depends on membership type, playing days, competition participation, student eligibility and the season’s approved rates. Registration is confirmed after the form and required payment are received.
